its been a while

So i have not been on here for ever. For 2 reasons first i don't really have the time anymore and i am not sure anyone i really want to know about our lives i don't already have contact with some way or another. and second if i cant keep a journal on my own, then its probably not fair i am constantly on this either, right?

And journals are so hard to keep up with. But lets see whats new, we moved, not because we wanted to but we had to. Its nice because its new, its not nice because its smaller. but we are adjusting and maybe its a great way for a new start to a new marriage. we are looking forward to my sisters (finally) wedding in June some time. The beach in Cali. here we come, we are trying to go to Disney land then also but not sure we want to take the kids because none of them are even the minimum height requirement to ride the really fun rides. so? not sure what we are going to do.

I have been in a cast or crutches since may of the last school year, my foot looks like a war zone with the six new scars on it. and its so sore and by the end of the day its so swollen i can barely walk on it so not so much fun.

Studio is going great, Tj started out at TEP and that's great being out of work for 6 months really hurts!

other then that kind of the same old same old.

Oh ya and HADLEE TY SCARBROUGH turned 1. yea we love her so much tj is the best dad to her, he loves her and cuddles with her like crazy, she is definitely daddy little girl!

summer fun

So lets see we dont get on this very often at all. But i feel like if i cant keep a journal in real life then i probably should not be waisting so much time on this. But summer is almost over NO!!!!!!!! I had surgery on my foot almost seven weeks ago i had a new pin put in, my achilies tendon lenghtened and all my medial tendons shortened. I have spent the entire summer on crutches and it has sucked. Once again a experience that makes me thank god that i have had a rather healthy body in this life time.

Amilee starts school in just a few weeks and amazingly she will be in 1st grade.

Brinlee started Kindergarden yesterday because down in florence they go to school year round, although we a fairly confident she wont even be staying in that school the entire year since moving around every six months is the thing they do. Which is so sad because the one thing kids have to have in life is stability. They say within the first five years there entire personality and what they are around becomes there permanent traits. She is now five and unfortunantaly she has been exposed to some very bad traits and we already see the effects of them when they come to stay. Which they do alot, We got to have the Girls the entire month of June well From june 2nd- June 31st and then again July 9th-17th and then she started school on the 20th so we had both the girls almost the whole summer. And we like it because we know what they are saying, watching, reading, and we know that we are saying prayers at every mill and we read a book before bed and say family prayers every night along with going to church every sunday. All we can do is continue to pray for all our kids that when they are not in our home they remember to CTR ha ha. since sll our kids go with there other parents to enviorments that are not CTR- ha ha we like to say that because thats what the kids refer to it as.

Ty is growing so fast! she is almost 8 months old now but still only fits in 3 month clothing. so cute and she is a angel baby. they happiest baby i have ever had!

Tj is still out of a job! uh its so frustrating in this economy and my studio has been closed for the summer and with my foot work has not been a option. To bad you dont get paid to be a mom, well not in this life. I guess we do get paid heavly in the next life IF we do a good job.

well nothing to exciting right now. I am trying to leave the intermidiate sperts of drama out of it :)

Oh and as you can see above i got a new hair cut and color!

getting so big

so tiny Ty is finally getting big she is 6 months old and still wears 3-6 mnth clothes but is pushing the line to 6 month clothes almost. she got her first hair cut since it can go into 2 full ponytails. she is making noises like dada and she has her blanket the she has to have to rub against her face anytime she sleeps. she is the happiest most laid back calm baby either of has ever had. its wonderful!

getting ready for church

well i dont know if this is good or bad but i know have this getting ready for church thing down. It taks three hours on for my self the other two to wake up the kids feed all of them and then do four girls hair and get them all dressed and out the door, and thats only if we take baths the night before oh i cant wait until they can do there own hair etc. or maybe i can because right now they still let us do what we want and not just what they want. and it has been so nice having all five kids with us we have seen such a positive change in there attitudes and disapline after about the first week, it take a bit to get back into the swing of things like rules and no fits and saying our pleases and thank yous and saying our prayers and reading our scriptures. And its nice to know when they are with us we are all going to church as a family. and they love primary.

crazy few weeks

Well its been a while we have been crazy busy, TJ worked his last little bit of the outage now he is looking for more work. uh. went back to court again! i know huh. drama drama i hate it but others seem to love it. And all over the fact that she wants more and more and more money. You know its crazy that randy has never paid me child support yet through the clearing house and i was more than happy to sign a affidavit of payment for him because as much as i might be mad at him and could screw him over for thousands i couldn't live with the fact that that's not honest he gave me the money in one way or another and yet the flip side even with the receipts there she wont be honest and say your right you did give me all this i will be a grown up big person and give you credit for it instead its "you screwed me over" she thinks she deserves more. But i guess that's the difference with selfish people who think the world revolves around them. oh well enough about court and ex's all that's there is negative junk anyways, but sometimes we just have to vent! oh i am sure we will hear about it to since people are nosy. oh well

Then we finally had the recital! it went well we only had about 600 people come this year but hey for our small town and having had it on memorial day weekend and with the two weddings and the rodeo dinner that night i guess that was a pretty good turn out! Friday night was the only one taped and Saturday seemed to be a much better show all the way around. but things still went really well.

Then we left to go to Idaho for a week to see family grandma is 87 and not doing to well right now. so we had to get up there she has never seen Blake let alone Hadlee or even Tj. so it was nice Tj went fishing alot and we spent the last few days with my best friend from school Brooke miller and her husband and kids, it was good fun she is expecting number three also and we have so much in common its crazy we can not see each other for years and the pick it up like we never missed a beat! good times. so other then that not much.

I am getting ready for surgery next week i have to get another pin put in my ankle and shortening my Achilles tendon, ouch! so i am trying to figure out how i will take care of everyone on crutches! fun fun fun

DIsicpline Your Kids!

OK so i need to be very careful about what is say, but i really really need to vent. So how do you tell a mom her child is a nightmare, when they think they are a angel. Are they really that blind to the situation? This child can not stop lying, about everything, this child steels things, this child has no idea what the word NO means! you say no, and they completely ignore the fact they where told no. But worse then that this child is mean, constantly picked on the other kids and i mean physically hurting them and making them cry. You hear the other kids telling there parents they don't want to play with them or be around that child because they are so bossy and mean.
I have actually heard the mom joking about how she cant follow through with discipline, and how "there just kids". ya but the kids always grow up to be adults and worse then that Teenagers!
So when this child gets arrested for stealing, kicked out of school for fighting, or lying, sneaks out and heaven forbid has a child when they are 16, do you say "i told you so"!?

But you cant tell the mom why, because it will just lead to drama, hard core drama. And yet you don't want to start drama you just want this child to be the best they can be and you know this stems from there home, they do it because they can, and that reflects on the parent and that's why they get pissed off. But let me tell you if it was my kid i would appreciate it if some one would tell me. If i felt like my daughter needed help i would get it to her, if she is being a bully at school she needs a nice butt whooping at home, she would need to know its not fun to be picked on and hurt. And there is nothing wrong with spanking your child its not abuse. you have to know when you should just have a time out or when you should spank. And bribery is not the answer, they should do stuff because you tell them to not because they have to always have a reward. because they will always expect one. kids need to be self motivated because they know if they help out they will get a big hug and praised for being such good helpers, and a occasional reward is not bad, like you guys did so good this week lets go to the park and play.
So i have talked to three other moms about this and they agree, so at least i know i am not the only one who feels this way.
So maybe we all need to talk to the people around us and check our kids because they might not be who we think they are, or maybe you actually know exactly how they are and you are just ignoring it?
oh on and on we could go, but whats they use, not trying to start a fight i promise trying to make a point!
